This is an important section of The The Muslim institute, Mr. Mohd. Aslam
Shamsi is the secretary and Haji Md. Zeeshan Shamshi is the Chairman. Annual
Iftar Party was held on 12th June 2016. Many dignitaries, members and person
from all walks of life joined our congregation Iftar. Congregational Traveeh
Prayers were organised as usual in the month of Ramzan, which was led by Hafiz
Junaid Saudagar. The Independence Day and Republic Day were celebrated with
due dignity. Members of the Executive Committee, the Hony. General Secretary
and eminent personalities of the society and representatives from Press were
present. The The Muslim institute was organised a “Jalsa-e-Zikr-e-Shohda-e-K
arbala”, in obeisance to the exemplary martyrdom in the history of Islam on
25th November, 2016. Eminent Orator, Poet and Writer, Dr. Abbas Nayyer
Jalalpuri, Head of the Department of Urdu, Lucknow University, and Renowned
Scholar, Dr. Syed Shah Marhoonul Irshad Alquaderi, Head of the Department of
Arabic, Maulana Azad College, Kolkata were the speakers in the Jalsa. Soz-o
Salam sang by Ustad Raza Au Khan, Grandson of Padma Bhushan, Ustad Bade
Ghulam Au Khan. Eid Milad-un-Nabi was observed on 6th January 2017. On the
occasion a cultural programme followed by a discourse on the Life and
Teachings of the Holy Prophet delivered by Hazrat Maulana Asrarul Haque
