Regular and extensive Mock
Test are taken by the teachers for Arts and Science subjects to evaluate the
performance of the students. That’s why the result of the students attached
with this centre has been splendid for the last few years. Our teachers not only
give the students suitable guidance about their syllabus, but also give them
certain tips about how to score good marks and improvement about their
career. We also organise programmes concerning the students like Career
Counselling Sessions, Group Interaction etc. time to time. In these programmes
we invite well known educationists and academicians for interaction with
students and their parents.
The classes of Intensive Coaching Centre (XI-XIl Science and XII Arts)
for the Session 2016-17 were started on 1st June and 2nd July, 2016 and closed in
January and February, 2017 respectively. Almost 100 students were trained in this
year’s coaching session. A Counselling Session and Farewell to the successful
students of Intensive Coaching Centre for the Session 2016-17 was held on 28th
February, 2017. The programme was presided over by Mr. Shaikh Shamsher Alam,
Hony. General Secretary of the The Muslim institute, Dr. Nayeem Anis, Mr. Syed
Alauddin, Mr. Tajdar Mirza, Mr. Aslam Shamsi, Mr. Nasir Ahmed, Mr. Saud Khan,
teachers of coaching classes and other guests expressed their views on the
Career Counselling of students after Higher Secondary Examinations, especially
regarding the admissions into colleges, selection of Honours subjects and other
career related issues. Members of the teaching faculty also guided the students
on different subjects for their Final Board Examination.
On 16th August, 2016 a condolence meeting was held on the sad
demise of Mr. Mansoor Ahmed Malik (Ex-Head Master, CMO High School and a
well-wisher of the The Muslim institute Community Coaching Centre). The Program
was started with the recitation of Holy Qyran by Mazhar Jameel Siddiqi. Prof.
Abdul Mannan (Ex-Head Dept. of Urdu, Calcutta University) presided over the
program. Mr. Md. Rizwan (Asst. Master, Calcutta Mdrasah), Mr. Md. Tauqir Azam
(Asst. Teacher, Md.Jan H. S. School), Mr. Khawaja Ahmed Hussain (Asst. Teacher,
Howrah High School), Dr. Naushad Momin (Editor, Mizgan, Kolkata), Mr. Nishat
Alam (Secretary, UG Council, Calcutta University), Mr. Shamim Anwar Khan
(Inspector of Colleges, Calcutta University), Mr. Iram Ansari, Mr. Jamal Ahmed
Jaman, Mr. Qmruddin Malik (President, Malik Baya Welfare Society), Mr.
Shadab Malik, Mr. Shahabuddin and Janab Anis Rafi also addressed. Dr. Nayeem
Ahmed compered the program. Mr. Syed Alauddin (Hockey Secretary, The
The Muslim institute) gave the vote of thanks.
On 11th November 2016, The Educational Sub Committee of The The Muslim institute observed the National Education Day on the Birth Anniversary of the
first Education Minister of Independent India, Maulana ABDUL Kalam Azad, which
was presided by Dr. Dabir Ahmed (Head, Dept. of Urdu, Maulana Azad College),
Prof. Safura Raziq (Head Dept. of History, Alia University) and Dr. Pinkyisha (Asst.
Professor Dept. of English, Calcutta Girls’ College). On this occasion, a book
entitled “Maulana Abhul Kalam Azad: Development of his literary and political
thoughts, while Miss. Sadia Zarren (Councillor, History, MANUU, The The Muslim institute Study Centre). The book was released by Mr. Shaikh Shamsher Alam,
(Hony. General Secretary, The The Muslim institute, Kolkata) who spoke elaborately
on the book and encouraged the young author on her endeavour to undertake
the task of highlighting work and contribution of a towering personality,
Maulana ABDUL Kalam Azad who is considered as the architect of the modern
educational system of India. Dr. Nayeem Ahmed compered the program.
