Library of The The Muslim institute is more than a century old and it is a treasure stock of valuable books, most of which are now out of print and hence priceless. After taking stock of the situation, the sub-committee decided to revamp and renovate the library. In this regard experts’ opinion was called for its revival. As per the plan submitted by the experts, the library needed immediate modernization to regain its past glory. Hence, a proposal under a government scheme was made to the Directorate of Library Services, Govt. of West Bengal for complete renovation of the Institute’s Library. The Institute’s Library has been fully renovated and automated with the financial assistance provided by the Directorate of Library Services, Govt. of West Bengal. With computerised cataloguing and modern system of stacking of books under a latest software, the century old library has got a fresh lease of life. The renovated Library was inaugurated on 02.10.2016 byjanab Siddiquallah Chawdhury, Hon’ble Minister in Charge Library & Mass Education, Govt. of West Bengal in the august presence of Janab H. A. Safwi, Hon’ble Dy. Speaker West Bengal State Legislative Assembly, Janab Ahmed Hassan lmran, Hon’ble MP and many other scholars and dignitaries.
